While at Northwest, he held various positions including director of industry marketing and sales, and director of western region sales. In 1987, he was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MLT Vacations. Under Neer’s leadership, MLT became one of the top U.S. vacation wholesalers, serving nearly one million vacationers every year who use MLT Vacations and Northwest Airlines WorldVacations.
